Glenda is one of just a few caring professional LADY Toastmasters, committed to providing a first class service. Her organisational skills and ability to multi-task mean meticulous attention to detail and thorough contingency of all eventualities.

Glenda will bring a breath of fresh air to your event. The
days of stuffiness and pomposity are over! Her hosts will enjoy a well managed, relaxed event; secure in the knowledge that she is the expert they need to guide them through their event. Her warm and friendly manner will help create the right atmosphere. She will ensure that the stress and anxiety is taken from the event organisers, leaving everyone to enjoy the event with confidence. At the end of the day, guests and all concerned will be left with lasting memories and feelings of satisfaction of a job well done! Any wedding or function is an expensive occasion when you add up the cost of the Venue, the Catering, the Flowers, the Cars, and the outfits......
The Toastmaster is probably one of the least expensive items but without her the whole day could go very differently than expected!

Why choose this Lady Toastmaster?

Glenda has many life skills and experiences. having started her career as a secondary school teacher, before joining British Airways in the late 70’s and becoming a face for B.A as a Personality Girl’ She then running her own businesses and more recently becoming a marriage registrar in East Sussex.

All the many events that a Toastmaster can attend involve many different components: They all require someone on the day to co-ordinate, direct and announce the proceedings. Many people are involved in providing the perfect occasion for your special event including, photographer, video photographer, band or entertainers and drivers - all these need to be co-ordinated to ensure that everything works well and to schedule. The venue may well be busy fulfilling their role in your event and unable to dedicate time to making everyone feel welcome, comfortable and confident in their roles & surroundings. Glenda will understand the stresses and strains involved with planning and executing your special day and by giving her the responsibility to act as your Toastmaster you will be free to enjoy your event with your family, friends and guests whilst she brings a calm and friendly approach to the occasion. Above all else Glenda will add that extra 'Touch of Class' and distinction to the occasion, bringing confidence, experience, humour & guidance to your special event.

A talented Toastmaster will conduct functions in a dignified manner, be polite, courteous, pleasant and co-operative at all times. Glenda’s knowledge of traditional etiquette, with diplomatic organisation on the day will ensure the event runs smoothly.

Before the Event

Having spoken to Glenda and made your confirmed booking she will send you a Pre-Event questionnaire for you to complete and return in advance of meeting with you to agree plans well in advance. Details will then be confirmed in writing or email. Glenda will remain available at any time to review and adjust your personal requirements.

Glenda will be honoured to officiate at your special event, whether it is formal and traditional or you are wanting a more modern and relaxed occasion with a degree of formality and control over proceedings!
