Chris Upham, MBE, BEM, JP
Pictured with TV presenter Chris Hollins, Chris Upham was already an experienced Toastmaster. But he still found our training invaluable:

" When I attended the school I had been performing Master of Ceremony duties for many years and felt I had a good idea of procedures, but going on the course taught me that I really did not have much idea about etiquette, procedure, modes of address and so many other matters.
The course taught me those things and whilst it was only a beginning it gave me the basis to go on and learn more and to be able to have confidence in my own ability as a professional Toastmaster. Anyone can purchase a red coat and call themselves a Toastmaster but only those properly trained are professional Toastmasters. "
Jane Burridge
Jane Burridge is one of the UK's most successful lady Toastmasters, pictured here with Councillor Rosemary Dane, at the time The Worshipful the Mayor of the Borough of Elmbridge, and Television Presenter Michael Aspel OBE. In addition to officiating at various functions throughout the UK, she is a past-president of the Association of the UK School of Professional Toastmasters and is the current Chairman of the Toastmasters' General Council.

" Since undertaking the training with the School I have had the pleasure of officiating at a wide variety of events, including weddings, award ceremonies, corporate dinners, charity functions and civic work (functions with Mayors or similar in attendance). Highlights of my career so far have included the opportunities to meet and introduce some really high-profile speakers such as Angela Rippon and Michael Aspel, although knowing you have made a difference to each and every event is what the job is really about. "
Christian Caroe
Pictured here with former light-heavyweight boxing champion John Conteh, Christian Caroe had this to say:

" The training, undertaken by Glenn, was first class and has given me that extra drive to get out there into the market place and make the established Toastmasters in the area realise there is a new kid in town. Within the first 6 months following the training I had assisted at 6 weddings, 3 charity dinners, The Liverpool Consular Corps Jubilee Dinner, The Chartered Institute for Security and Investors Dinner, hosted the premier of 007 Skyfall in Chester, hosted the local Federation of Small Business's summer event and I did the meet and greet at the Pitt Club (Est 1814) for their monthly dinner at the 5-star Chester Grosvenor Hotel.
